The A. Lange & Söhne Lange 1 stands for tradition and luxury
The A. Lange & Söhne Lange 1 has been the face of the watch manufacturer A. Lange & Söhne for more than twenty years. Since the first modern collection was introduced in 1994, it has shaped the self-image of the company from Saxony. No other watch has received as many awards as the A. Lange & Söhne Lange 1. Among other things, it was named "Watch of the Year 1995" and "Watch of the Year 1997."
Distinctive design
The second generation of the remarkable watch appears to have remained largely unchanged in its design. The clear design of the dial remains characteristic. Made of solid silver, it impresses the viewer with its gold hands and the asymmetrical arrangement of the displays. What is new, however, is the jumping large date. It jumps forward one day exactly at midnight. This means that it can be clearly read at all times.
High quality caliber
The caliber is also new. It is the hand-wound Lange L901.0 manufacture movement. It has a stop-second function and a power reserve indicator. Lange calls this the "UP and DOWN indicator." The luxurious watch is available in numerous versions. The materials used to make the cases are classy. Warm red gold, cool white gold and platinum give the A. Lange & Söhne Lange 1 a beautiful frame. There are also variations in the design of the dial and the straps. The A. Lange & Söhne Lange 1 can be worn on straps made of crocodile leather or on high-quality straps made of precious metal.
Rich model family
In addition to the first, the "original model" of the A. Lange & Söhne Lange 1, there is a rich family of models. With the Lange 1 Moon Phase, the watchmakers from Saxony are breaking new ground. The Lange 1 Time Zone offers remarkable additional functions. The Large Lange 1 impresses with a case that has a diameter of 40.9 millimeters. The Lange 1A and Lange 1 Tourbillon variants are valuable.
