The lightness is due to the new material from which the Breitling Avenger Hurricane was made. It's called Breitlight® and is 3.3 times lighter than titanium. Even steel is surpassed in hardness by the new material. Other advantages of the exclusive high-tech material are its scratch and tensile strength, its resistance to all forms of corrosion and its heat resistance. The material is also non-magnetic and anti-allergic. The original design of the modern fabric is further enhanced by a slight marbling.
Colored accents
The manufactured chronograph from the traditional Breitling company attracts everyone's attention with its yellow accents. You will find yourself on the generously designed dial. Here the second hand has a yellow tip, parts of the lettering and the subdials for the chronograph display are set off in yellow. The dial is perfectly legible thanks to luminous hands and luminous numbers under the thick, anti-reflective sapphire crystal on both sides. Accents can also be found on the black textile strap. Here it is the yellow flanks that skilfully reflect the watch's original color scheme. The bracelet itself is made of yellow rubber on its edges and inside. Black military textile forms the outside.
The Breitling Avenger Hurricane is powered by the in-house caliber B12. The chronograph movement is self-winding and has a 24-hour display. This is common for pilots and the military because there should be no confusion between day and night.
