Breitling Avenger Hurricane 45
The Breitling Avenger Hurricane 45 impresses with striking details
With the Breitling Avenger Hurricane 45, the Swiss watch company presents a much smaller version of the Avenger Hurricane, which is popular with pilots and hobby aviators. This pilot's chronograph is perfect for all lovers of pilot's watches for whom the model with its 50 millimeter diameter seems too present on the wrist. With the Breitling Avenger Hurricane 45 you get a watch that is in no way inferior to the mighty 50 millimeter version in terms of robustness and resistance.
High quality movement
Like the larger model variant, the Breitling Avenger Hurricane 45 contains one of the best movements from the traditional Breitling company. The high-performance Breitling 01 caliber comes entirely from the Swiss company's in-house workshops. It can rightly be called a manufacture caliber, because the conception and development were carried out exclusively in the company's own workplaces. The caliber is COSC certified and has a power reserve of up to 70 hours. The exceptionally precise caliber is embedded in a housing made of the ultra-light and ultra-robust material Breitlight®. This avant-garde alloy, which surpasses titanium in lightness and steel in hardness, is used for the first time in watchmaking.
Perfect dials
Dials, available in either black or yellow, give the watch a powerful, technical look. This is underlined by the white stencil numbers that are typical for aviation. A date window is at the half past four position. There are also chronograph functions for 30 minutes and 12 hours at the three and six o'clock positions as well as a small seconds at nine o'clock. The perfect legibility of the time information under all circumstances is guaranteed by hands and numbers that are coated with luminescent material.
The Breitling Avenger Hurricane 45 is worn on the new and exclusive military strap. The inside and the sides are made of yellow rubber and provide an exceptional wearing comfort. The outer surface made of textile is extremely stable and durable, as wearers expect from a pilot's watch.
