Special performance
With the Breitling Chronomat 44, the traditional workshop from Grenchen, Switzerland, managed to launch a real classic. The first variants were designed and built in the 1940s. The groundbreaking watch's name alone shows what important functions it can perform. In addition to the time display, the instrument featured an innovative slide rule on its bezel. As a combination of watch, “chronograph” and calculating instrument, “mathematics”, the watch created in this way was given the name Chronomat. With a case diameter of 44 millimeters, the Breitling Chronomat 44 joins the range of medium-sized models in the collection. The Breitling B01 in-house caliber works inside the watch. It was presented to the public in 2009. This was a major breakthrough for the company. The Breitling B01 chronograph movement was the first movement to be designed and assembled entirely in-house. That's why the COSC-certified movement is rightly called a manufacture caliber.

Other variants are impressively monochromatic, with luminous hands and indices. Timepieces in the model series made of stainless steel appear technically precise. Four gold indices on the bezel give the watch a luxurious look in other versions. The cool instrument appears even more refined with a completely gold bezel. With the version made entirely of gold, complete luxury joins the ranks of Breitling pilot watches.
