The watch also impresses with a perpetual calendar, two alarms that can be programmed independently of each other, and a so-called lap function with which lap times can be measured.

The Breitling Cockpit B50 also impresses with an electronic tachymeter. This is a calculation aid that is important for determining speeds. There is also a countdown and countup system as well as the chrono flight function, which is very useful for pilots. This function makes it possible to record important flight times. Variables such as the date, start and landing time are saved. They will be read out at a later date in the comfort of your own home and entered into the flight log. The Breitling Cockpit B50 can be connected to a computer for this purpose.
The Breitling Cockpit B50 shows two illuminated displays as digital displays on its dial. When you press a button, these glow particularly brightly. The same effect occurs when the wearer of the watch turns their wrist by around 35 degrees. A pilot does not have to take his hands off the wheel to do this.

The caliber inside the watch works extremely precisely. This is a super quartz caliber that was developed and assembled in the workshops of the traditional company. The thermocompensated and COSC-certified movement is one of the best currently available on the market. The Breitling Cockpit B50 is operated via two pushers located on the right side of the case and via the crown. The extremely light titanium case of the Breitling B 50 is combined with either a titanium or rubber strap. Its diameter is 46 millimeters.
