Breitling Colt Skyracer
The Breitling Colt Skyracer presents itself with innovations
The Breitling Colt Skyracer presents itself with a world premiere. Its ultra-light and highly robust Breitlight® case with a diameter of 45 millimeters gives it a resolute techno look in deep black. The innovative material Breitlight® is extremely light and robust. The high-tech material is more than three times lighter than titanium and more than five times lighter than steel. Stainless steel significantly surpasses the alloy in terms of hardness. In addition, Breitlight® is unusually scratch-resistant and it resists corrosion, is antimagnetic and anti-allergic. This means it has the best wearing properties. Its slight marbling gives it an elegant touch.
Extremely precise caliber
Breitlight® is not the only innovative surprise with which the Breitling Colt Skyracer impresses. Its SuperQuartzTM caliber is ten times more precise than conventional quartz movements. The thermocompensated movement has been certified by COSC, the Official Swiss Chronometer Control. This confirms the watch's highest precision and reliability.
The Breitling Colt Skyracer impresses with a rotating bezel and the riders typical of the traditional Swiss company. They can be used to reliably save the measured times. The dial has a seconds scale and, in a nod to the military background of its origins, a 24-hour display, the so-called military time. Another special feature of the watch is the black rubber strap. Equipped with practical measuring scales in the scale 1:25,0000 and 1:50,000 at 12 o'clock and in the units of centimeters and inches at the six o'clock position and easily removable, the band can easily be used as a measuring instrument.
Instrument for adventurers
As a reliable companion, the Breitling Colt Skyracer impresses pilots and hobby pilots with its perfectly legible dial. The hands and displays coated with luminous white paint stand out from the black background. Red splashes of color on the dial are reminiscent of dashboards. The face of the watch is reliably protected by the anti-reflective sapphire crystal on both sides.
The remarkable watch takes its name from pilot Mika Brageot's Skyracer aircraft. His flight in the Red Bull aerobatic competition was sponsored by Breitling in 2017.
