Hublot
Designer watches from Hublot
2, 4, 8, 10 and 12 are the magic numbers at Hublot , because if you see numbers on the dial, then these are the ones. The unmistakable Hublot design impresses with its simple elegance and high recognition value. There are certainly lines that shine with colors and jewels.
Carlo Crocco, the Milanese inventor of Hublot watches, established the so-called porthole design in the 1980s. Here, orientation on the shiny dial is made possible by twelve screws that attach the bezel to the case. The mono-model strategy led to great success, but was slightly varied and expanded at the beginning of the 21st century. In this way, a Hublot is still unmistakable, but a wider audience can be addressed. As part of the restructuring, new production facilities were built, so that Hublot now also produces its own watch movements.
In 2005, Hublot presented the Big Bang , which has lived up to its name ever since and has enjoyed great popularity. This model is closest to the Carlo Crocco models, as their case is very simple, the dial is minimalistic but still clear, and the bracelet is screwed on.
The choice of materials is one of Hublot 's characteristics, in addition to the design. Red gold is often used, but unusual materials such as magnesium are also used. This has enabled Hublot to re-establish itself on the market and collectors have discovered Hublot for themselves. The straight lines of the models, which can nevertheless appear luxurious, puristic, functional or classic, are inspiring more and more enthusiasts.
