IWC Aquatimer Automatic
The IWC Aquatimer Automatic is the smallest of the diving watches from IWC. This collection consists of four stylish automatic watches, the design of which goes back to the first Aquatimer from 1967. The designers at IWC were guided by the slim and slightly bevelled shape of the bezel. The outer bezel has recessed grips that make it easier to turn. The dial design is also similar and based on the Aquatimers of the last century. The displays that are relevant for diving in particular are provided with a luminous layer of Super-LumiNova. Thanks to the high-quality workmanship, the Aquatimer Automatic is water-resistant up to 30 bar, making it a diving watch for the highest demands.
Stylish and sporty - the Aquatimer
The designers at IWC have combined the functions of a diving watch with a modern design in a stylish and sophisticated way. The IWC Aquatimer Automatic has the smart quick-change system, so that you can change from a stainless steel bracelet to a rubber strap in no time at all. On land as well as under water, the stainless steel bracelet is sporty and elegant and the rubber strap is light and comfortable to wear. The case of the Aquatimer is made of sturdy stainless steel, so that even salt water cannot harm the case. The mechanical Safe Dive System with an external and internal rotating bezel is one of the features that make this Aquatimer a practical diving watch.
Technology on land and water
The caliber 30120 in the IWC Aquatimer Automatic is a classically inspired and high-performance movement that guarantees a power reserve of 42 hours with its 21 jewels. This automatic movement drives the hour, minute and second displays as well as the date. The dials of the four models are either silver-plated, black or blue. The stainless steel indices are easy to see in daylight. The luminescent indices ensure legibility in the dark or at great depths during a dive. The double index at twelve o'clock allows for quick reading in any position.
