IWC Aquatimer Chronograph
The IWC Aquatimer Chronograph collection includes five sporty models that are characterized by a simply elegant dial design and an unobtrusive shape. The timeless color scheme looks classy and sporty. The black rubber strap with the patented IWC quick-change system allows flexibility and allows you to change to a stainless steel strap in no time. In terms of design and technology, this is an excellent diving watch that shines with a water resistance of 30 bar and is particularly durable and high-quality. In addition to the stainless steel models, there is a special version in which the stainless steel is coated with a layer of black rubber, which gives the watch a special and sporty look.
Outstanding features for divers
The IWC Aquatimer Chronograph has numerous functions that are useful on land and at sea. The chronograph movement has a stopwatch function with the option of adding times. This is not only useful when diving, but also for any other sport. An external-internal rotating ring on the bezel makes every dive safe because the Safe Dive System prevents the dive time from being accidentally changed. The date and day of the week display, which is located on the three o'clock function, is not only interesting for divers, but is also useful on land.
A caliber goes diving
The IWC Aquatimer Chronograph collection features a caliber 79320 movement with 25 jewels and a power reserve of 44 hours. The automatic movement drives the hours, minutes and seconds as well as the date display. Curved sapphire crystal, which has been anti-reflectively coated on both sides, ensures perfect legibility on land and under water. The design of the dial is unusual, yet sober and varied. A wealth of information in the form of two rings with hour indices and digits for the minutes surrounds three subdials and the date display. The particularly strong hands with a luminescent layer increase legibility. The wide hands are also a design element that gives the watch its sporty face.
