IWC Big Pilot's Heritage Watch
The IWC Big Pilot's Heritage Watch is a watch collection consisting of two beautiful models designed in honor of the legendary pilot's watches from IWC. Its attractive and sophisticated retro look combines the 46 mm diameter with a strong and sober design that appears elegant and timeless. As with the classic pilot's watches of the 20th century, good readability and high durability of the entire watch are important elements in these two models. The robustness is guaranteed by the titanium housing with high quality and careful workmanship. Titanium is not only very strong and durable, but also light, making the watch comfortable to wear. An equally high-quality version is the Heritage Watch in 18-carat red gold.
Reliable precision in a retro look
Inside the IWC Big Pilot's Heritage Watch, a caliber 52110 movement drives the hours, minutes, seconds and the date display, which is located at the six o'clock position. The pilot's watch has additional modern features that were not previously available in the old pilot's watches. Among other things, the soft iron inner cage developed by IWC was installed, which protects the watch mechanism from magnetic fields. The Pellaton automatic winding, which is made of black and white ceramic, was also used. Thanks to this, the power reserve of the Pilot's Heritage Watch is a full seven days.
A retro watch with style
The retro look of the IWC Big Pilot's Heritage Watch is enhanced by the use of soft calf leather, which is decorated with decorative rivets made of titanium or red gold, depending on the model. This bracelet is lightweight and increases wearing comfort. The dial design is entirely in keeping with the heritage spirit. The dial is black on both the red gold and titanium versions. The classic Arabic numerals and the propeller hands stand out on it in traditional beige. They are covered with luminescent layers, which guarantees good readability in poor visibility.
