Omega Constellation
The Omega Constellation is one of the most diverse watches
The Omega Constellation model series is a special testimony to the art of watchmaking. At the same time, the luxurious watches are the oldest models from the Swiss watch manufacturer. They were first introduced in 1952. Over the years, the face of the valuable watch series has been changed several times and even recreated. The 1982 Constellation is one of the most famous wristwatches in history thanks to a handle on its bezel.
Luxury watch in perfection
Numerous Omega Constellation models have become icons. An example of this is the "Pie Pan". This model, which impresses with quality, style and precision, was launched in 1952. The watch gets its name from the twelve dial facets. They make the case appear like an inverted cake pan. The caliber of the watch has a chronometer certification.
In 1982, the traditional company launched the Constellation Manhattan. It was designed by Carol Didisheim. What is striking about this watch are prongs at three and nine o'clock. They were used to securely fasten the watch glass. At the same time, they shaped the new and extravagant design of the watches. Some of the model series also have quartz movements. In 1985, the Omega watch company returned to automatic movements.
Great versatility
Style-conscious women in particular can be enthusiastic about contemporary versions of the Omega Constellation. A new model from the coveted collection comes from 2009. It impresses with a modern design, but sticks to the tried and tested traditions of the model series. This includes the five-pointed star that can be found at six o'clock on the dial. The prongs attached to the side - the handle - are still present as a typical feature. The dials are timeless. Colors such as black, champagne, brown or mother-of-pearl white are particularly beautiful. The version for women is also available in four different case sizes, from the smallest version in 24 millimeters to the largest version in 35 millimeters.
