Rolex Oyster Perpetual
In 1926, Rolex introduced the first dust and water-resistant wristwatch called the "Oyster". In 1931, it developed and patented the first automatic winding mechanism with a perpetual rotor, and in 1945, Rolex launched the first wristwatch with an automatically changing date on the dial. The Oyster Perpetual models, which have retained their original aesthetics, still stand for absolute precision, accuracy and durability. The case of the Rolex Oyster Perpetual is made of stainless steel with a domed bezel or in white Rolesor (a combination of white gold and stainless steel) with a fluted bezel. It is available with a diameter of 31 or 36 mm. It is water-resistant to a depth of 100 meters.
The Oyster Perpetual movement is a Rolex manufacture movement with self-winding. The 36 mm version has a paramagnetic blue Parachrom Breguet hairspring. The watch has the Oyster bracelet with a folding clasp with flat elements. The dial of the Oyster Perpetual 36 mm in the stainless steel version is available in silver, black with Arabic numerals at 3, 6, 9 with index, black with Arabic numerals at 3, 6, 9 with index in rose, black-orange or blue-silver with concentric circles, with Arabic numerals at the hour display 3, 6, 9 and minute display at 5, 10, 20,25, 35, 40, 50 and 55.
In the Rolesor version in blue with Arabic numerals at 3, 6, 9 with index. Available in 31 mm in the stainless steel version in white, rose, blue and black with Arabic numerals at 3, 6, 9 with index and in silver and black with Arabic numerals 3, 6, 9 and hour index in rose. The dial is also available in rose with Roman numerals at 3, 6, 9 with minute index.
