Rolex Oyster Perpetual Cosmograph Daytona
The Rolex Cosmograph Daytona was launched in 1963 and was specifically designed for professional racing drivers. It features a chronograph movement and a tachymeter bezel.
The case of the Rolex Oyster Perpetual Cosmograph Daytona is available in stainless steel , yellow Rolesor (stainless steel and yellow gold), yellow gold , white gold , Everose gold and platinum .
This stainless steel is 904L stainless steel, which is known for its high corrosion resistance. There are different variants: with a fixed engraved tachymeter bezel, a fixed engraved ceramic tachymeter bezel, a black Cerachrom monoblock tachymeter bezel, a fixed bezel with sapphire, ruby baguettes or diamonds and has a diameter of 40 mm. It is water resistant to a depth of 100 meters.
The movement of the Cosmograph Daytona is a Rolex manufacture movement with self-winding. It has a chronograph function and a paramagnetic blue Parachrom Breguet hairspring. The Cosmograph bracelet is also available in different versions. It is available with the Oyster bracelet with clasp folding clasp with Easylink, Oyster bracelet with clasp folding clasp with 18 carat white, yellow or Everose gold or as a leather strap.
The dial of the Cosmograph Daytona is ice blue with index in the platinum version and black or white with index in the stainless steel version. In the Everose gold version it is available in rose with black, with rose and in ivory with index or in chocolate with Arabic numerals. In the Rolesor yellow and yellow gold versions it is available in champagne, white, white mother of pearl, stainless steel colored, blue, black, dark mother of pearl with or without diamonds and with Arabic and Roman numerals and hour index. Only in the yellow gold version is the dial also available in champagne with black or black with champagne with hour index. In the white gold version it is silver or black, with Arabic numerals. Furthermore it is available in white, with black or slate gray, with Arabic numerals, meteorite colored, in black, white or rose colored mother of pearl, gold crystal colored with diamonds and in diamond pavé with black or blue Arabic or Roman enameled numerals. The dial is equipped with small snailed hands.
