Rolex Oyster Perpetual GMT Master II
The Rolex GMT-Master was specially developed for pilots on international flights to be able to display two time zones simultaneously. It was launched in 1955. The GMT-Master II, introduced in 2005, with two-tone Cerachrom ceramic numerals is Rolex's new generation.
The case of the Rolex GMT-Master II is made of stainless steel, white gold, yellow gold or yellow Rolesor (a combination of stainless steel and yellow gold) and has a diameter of 40 mm. This stainless steel is 904L, which is known for its high corrosion resistance. It has a bidirectional rotating bezel with 24-hour graduation and black dial. It is water resistant to a depth of 100 meters.
The movement of the Oyster Perpetual GMT-Master II is a self-winding Rolex manufacture movement. It has a GMT function/second time zone, 24-hour hand, automatic date change and a paramagnetic blue Parachrom Breguet hairspring.
The watch has an Oyster bracelet with an Oysterlock folding clasp with Easylink. The models with the reference numbers SANR in white or yellow gold are set with brilliant-cut diamonds.
The dial of the GMT-Master II is available in the steel version in black, in the yellow gold version in black, with diamond pavé or green, in the steel/gold version (Rolesor yellow) in black, in the white gold version in black, or with diamond pavé.
