Perfect readability of important parameters

Also for the first time, the watch glass of the innovative diving watch is fitted with a cyclops magnifying glass. It is located at the three o'clock position. This allows the date to be read perfectly. The red "Sea-Dweller" lettering on the dial is a reminiscence of the original model. The unidirectional rotating bezel has a patented black number disc made of Cerachrom, a high-strength and scratch-resistant ceramic. The 60-minute scale allows the diver to read the times for the dive and decompression perfectly.

Hermetically sealed thanks to innovative technology

The case is water-resistant to a depth of 120 bar. This is achieved by the characteristic shape of the middle section. It is made of extremely corrosion-resistant 904L stainless steel. The fluted case back is hermetically screwed. The Triplock winding crown of the Rolex Oyster Perpetual Sea-Dweller is equipped with a triple sealing system. It is protected by cams on the middle section. This gives it the security of a submarine hatch.
