The two-tone dial, with which the traditional Swiss company first surprised lovers of luxurious watches in 2008, appears with new, subtle details for this occasion. The classic stainless steel version impresses with a black dial in the “Grande Tapisserie” motif. In addition to the larger chronograph counters, new lettering and new stamps are impressive. Audemars Piguet has once again significantly improved the readability.Modern design
The design of this remarkable watch is surprisingly clear. The focus is on the high-quality dial of the chronograph. Embedded in a stainless steel housing, it features silver-plated counters and applied indices. The Royal Oak hands are made of precious white gold. Their matt glow cleverly picks up on the excellent shine of the case. A luminous coating on the hands makes it easy to read the time even under adverse circumstances. The dial of the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Chronograph is protected by anti-reflective sapphire crystal.
Unmistakable optics
One of the striking features of the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Chronograph is the octagonal bezel. As with all models from Audemars Piguet, it is held in place with eight functional screws on the case, which is quite large with a diameter of 41 millimeters. With this typical look, the chronograph delights watch lovers worldwide. An automatic movement ticks with extreme precision in the chronograph and is wound by the movement of the wrist.
