Tradition continues
All five versions have the well-known waffle pattern on their dials. The "Grande Tapisserie" has become one of the distinctive features of the robust watches. The totalizers stand out in color. Audemars Piguet also relies on tradition in the rest of the design and is based on the version of the stopper that caused a stir in 2008. However, the totalizers, which are located at the three and nine o'clock positions, have been enlarged. In return, the indexes on the dial are now smaller and slightly wider. To improve the readability of the dial at night, the watch manufacturer uses more luminous material. The heart of the chronograph is the tried and tested 2385 automatic movement from Frederic Piguet. It has an integrated chronograph function.
Notable variants
The case of the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Chronograph has a diameter of 41 millimeters. It is available in stainless steel and rose gold. The stainless steel versions impress with dials in blue, black or silver. The rose gold versions have blue and brown dials.
