Esteemed watch family

For more than thirty years, the Portofino line has been one of the most popular watch families from the traditional company IWC. There are 150 copies of the Portofino Hand-Wound Moon Phase Edition called “150 Years” in red gold. IWC offers a total of 350 pieces in the stainless steel version.

The version with the red gold case is the only gold watch from the anniversary series that has a blue dial. In harmony with this, the hands as well as the moon and stars in the moon phase display are covered in gold. The moon and stars of the models with stainless steel cases are rhodium-plated. The IWC manufacture caliber 59800 only deviates from the lunar cycle by one day after a period of 122 years.

Limited anniversary versions The IWC Portofino Chronograph Edition “150 Years” is also being released in a limited edition. Two thousand examples each have a blue and a white lacquer dial. The IWC Portofino Automatic Edition “150 Years” adopts the same color variation.
