The new Omega Speedmaster Gray Side of the Moon

The long history of Omega goes back to the first moon landing in 1969, where an Omega watch was already on board. It therefore seems very fitting that Omega wants to allude to this with the new edition of the Speedmaster Gray Side of the Moon.

The long history of Omega goes back to the first moon landing in 1969, where an Omega watch was already on board. It therefore seems very fitting that Omega wants to allude to this with the new edition of the Speedmaster Gray Side of the Moon.

The moon theme is particularly reflected in the gray casing. This was made from a single ceramic block, which is actually white and is transformed into gray in a high-temperature plasma oven. The engraved numbers and indices on the bezel have been filled with Super LumiNova for easy legibility. The watch gains further extravagance thanks to the dial made of platinum, which rounds off the elegant and classic design.

The gray leather strap is reinforced with rubber around the clasp and offers another eye-catcher with red stitching on the inside of the strap.
The scratch-resistant 44.25 millimeter case is fitted with a manufacture caliber 9300 with Co-Axial escapement and silicon balance spring. This means that the sophisticated technology in this beautiful piece of jewelry is not neglected.
Overall, the Speedmaster Gray Side of the Moon offers its wearer a perfect mix of noble, classic elegance and yet some extravagance thanks to the extremely high-quality materials.
