The in-house manufacture movement, caliber 4130, improves the accuracy, reaching a value of -2/+2 seconds per day, measured after the movement has been encased. The watch retains the 40MM case diameter, although many Rolex fans would have preferred a 42mm version. As usual, there is a choice of a white and a black dial. The most striking innovation is the fixed bezel made from a black Cerachrom monoblock and with an engraved tachymeter scale. The new Rolex Daytona 116500LN should not be missing from any complete Rolex collection. It is and remains the icon among Rolex watches.
