The new models introduced in 2016 by the traditional Italian luxury watch manufacturer Officine Panerai, which now produces in Neuchatel, Switzerland, include four variants of the well-known Panerai Radiomir 1940 series, which continue the tradition of the manufacturer that has become known for its high-quality diving watches. The two new models are variants of the Radiomir 3 Days GMT Automatic Acciaio Ref- model. PAM00628 and PAM00658, all of which have a stainless steel case with a diameter of 45. The fourth new model is a variant of the Panerai Radiomir 1940 Acciaio 47 mm PAM00662 in Luminor 1950 optics.The new models of the Panerai Radiomir 1940 with a 45 mm case diameter (Ref. No. PAM00627 or PAM00657) have a stainless steel case (AISI 316L steel) in which the in-house automatic manufacture caliber works with a power reserve of three days. The black dial is equipped with numbers that have an ecru-colored Superluminova coating. The large baton hour markers also make the dial easier to read at any time of day. These models have luminous hands for hours, minutes and seconds as well as a GMT function that allows use in two time zones.
