With the new Rolex Cellini Moonphase 50535, the watch company Rolex is presenting a model variant made of 18 carat Everose gold. The eye-catcher on the white lacquered dial is a moon phase disc that is enameled in blue. It is located at the six o'clock position. The case has a diameter of 39 millimeters. For the first time, a model in the Rolex Cellini series is worn on a brown alligator leather strap.

Filigree designed moon phase disc

The full moon symbol on the disc, which has been designed with filigree mastery, is represented by a meteorite appliqué. The new moon symbol is a silver circle. The moon phase can be read using a moon phase indicator. It is located on the blue sub-dial at the twelve o'clock position. Over the course of a lunar cycle, the symbols for the full moon and the new moon alternately appear opposite it. The Rolex Cellini Moonphase also has a hand in its center, with a stylized crescent moon at the outer end showing the date on the edge of the dial.

Highly precise movement

Inside the watch is a mechanical movement. As a manufacture movement, it was entirely designed and manufactured by the luxury watch company Rolex. The automatic self-winding mechanism has a patented moon phase module. It gives the Rolex Cellini Moonphase the astronomical accuracy of an unimaginable 122 years. The accuracy of the chronometer is also exceptional. After being set, it is plus/minus two seconds a day.
