After an eventful history, the company has belonged to the Scheufele family since 1963. The jeweler and watchmaker Karl Scheufele from Pforzheim, Germany, acquired the company called Le Petit-fils de LU Chopard et Cie, Fabrique des Montres LUC from the 80-year-old Paul André Chopard. The family business, with several branches in Europe, North America and Asia, is one of the most successful watch and jewelry producers in the world.
