Exceptional material properties
The Chanel J12 cases are made of ceramic. This high-tech material is break-resistant and therefore gives the delicate elegance of the watch an unusual robustness. The watches also owe their brilliance to their color to the ceramic material. Because the timepieces from the Chanel J12 collection are actually snow white or pitch black. Only ceramic can offer such colorfast properties. Furthermore, the material is very light. That's why all watches from the Chanel J12 model line feel like a feather when worn.
The watches in the Chanel J12 collection offer a few special features when it comes to the bezels. Some of the details made of stainless steel or yellow gold were incorporated here. This further underlines the simple and elegant look of the watches.

Still other bezels on the Chanel J12 were set with either one or two rows of brilliant-cut diamonds. Some of the dials also have precious stones on them. Here they take the place of numbers. Practical features of the watches include central seconds, luminous hands, date displays and rotating bezels.
Modern manufacture caliber
The luxury group has been on the market with new Chanel J12 models since 2019. The watches became light in appearance. The dial opening was enlarged and the crown was subtly reduced in size. The shapes of the numbers and indices were also revised. Furthermore, the Chanel J12 was equipped with the newly developed caliber 12.1. This is a manufacture movement with automatic winding. The COSC-certified movement has a power reserve of 70 hours. The caliber with the round tungsten oscillating weight can be seen through the glass bottom of the case. The glass back is a design feature of Chanel watches.
