Almost logically, the Breitling Navitimer was officially recommended as a pilot’s watch by the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (AOPA) in 1952.
It is a sophisticated and ingenious chronograph. The original Breitling Navitimer model already had a "navigation computer" and a circular slide rule. This allows pilots to carry out all flight-specific calculations.
Since the introduction of the Breitling Navitimer 01 with the in-house movement B01, the Breitling watch has even had a movement specially developed by Breitling. The 43 mm version of the watch is available in stainless steel or 18 K red gold. A black dial with silver-colored totalizers is standard for both materials, but can be selected with hour index or Arabic numerals.
For the strap, you can choose between the Navitimer Pilot strap, the Air Racer strap, calf leather or crocodile leather. For the leather straps, you can choose between a folding clasp or a pin buckle. The colors of the leather straps - brown, green, black, gold or blue - leave nothing to be desired, so everyone can put together their dream watch according to their individual taste.
The B01 movement from Breitling is a chronograph movement with date and chronometer certification and an incredible 70 hours of power reserve when fully wound. As with all Breitling Navitimer versions, the Breitling watch is water-resistant up to 3 bar (splash-proof).

The mechanical movement with automatic winding was developed and built exclusively in the workshops of the traditional Swiss company Breitling.
43 mm high with the Navitimer B01
Breitling has introduced additional 43 mm versions of the Navitimer B01 Chronograph for the 2022 season. The pilot watches were designed with black crocodile leather with an ice blue dial and black totalizers (reference AB0138241C1P1). You can get a cool silver with black totalizers with the reference AB0138241G1P1. With the reference AB0138241K1P1, the classic wearer gets his money's worth, with a copper-colored dial and black totalizers or black dial. For the daring wearer, Breitling has released its Navitimer B01 with a green dial reference AB0138241L1P1. All variants are also available with the steel band Ref. AB0138241C1A1, AB0138241G1A1, AB0138241K1A1 and AB0138241L1A1.
The new 18 carat red gold version with a black dial and silver totalizers and crocodile leather, reference RB0138211B1P1, stands out. For luxury fans, Breitling also has this chronograph with a matching red gold metal bracelet Ref. RB0138211B1R1.
Facelift for the Breitling Navitimer B01 Chronograph 43
Breitling made the most noticeable change to the seven-part metal bracelet, which was previously polished throughout. The new metal band alternates between polished and matt elements. The second change was made to the logo on the dial. Nostalgic and true to its name, the Breitling Navitimer B01 43 mm gets the AOPA wings. The date window can be found in the new pilot's watch at 6 o'clock. Inside the watch is the well-known and popular mechanical automatic manufacture caliber B01, which has a power reserve of up to 70 hours.
