With a Glashütte Original Pano you are buying a timepiece whose aesthetics represent a skilful synthesis of tradition and modernity.
Refined date display
The large date display on the dials of the Glashütte Original Pano is based on a sophisticated mechanism. Normally only a single date disc is used in the movement to display the date. It has the numbers from 1 to 30. At Glashütte Original, however, this is handled differently. The watchmakers in this traditional watch workshop use two smaller discs to display the date. One of them is for the first digit, the other is used for the second digit. This means that the numbers on both discs can be written larger.
Precise caliber
The case of the watches from the Glashütte Original Pano model series is circular. Its diameter is 40 millimeters. The casing of the men's watches is made of stainless steel and gold.

Calibers that are considered masterpieces of watchmaking work inside. In the Glashütte Original Pano Reserve models it is the hand-wound caliber 65-01. The name of the watch alludes to the power reserve display. In addition to the time and day as a panoramic date, the dial also shows a decentralized small second, a stop seconds as well as a decentralized hour and minute. With the PanoMaticLunar, the company Glashütte Original also offers a watch model with a moon phase display in the Glashütte Original Pano series.
High level of vertical integration
The Glashütte manufactory is one of the few watch brands in the world with a very high level of vertical integration. More than 95 percent of the production steps take place in our own workshops. The watchmakers in Glashütte can even produce their own dials. The typical faces of the watches from the Glashütte Original Pano series are also manufactured here, from the blank to the finished sheet. Only the materials are purchased. Up to 80 operations are necessary to produce a dial.
