In contrast to the historical model, the IWC Aquatimer Automatic has a transparent sapphire crystal back and is water-resistant up to 30 bar. Another IWC watch in the Aquatimer family is the IWC Aquatimer Chronograph, which literally reflects the colors of the sea. The diving ring on the outside shows the beginning of the dive with the arrow. This special diving ring gives the IWC Aquatimer chronograph in the stainless steel version a completely new, striking look. The color-contrasting quarter arch of the rotating bezel and the minute hand also appear in the bright colors of the sea.
The chronograph, which is waterproof up to 30 bar, has increased in size and, thanks to the Super-LumiNova light source, the displays have become significantly more legible. The inner dials of the IWC Aquatimer Chronograph on the minute and hour counter make it easier to read the stop times underwater. Both color versions of the IWC Aquatimer Chronograph are available in both stainless steel and black rubber straps. Another interesting IWC watch from the IWC Aquatimer family is the IWC Aquatimer Automatic 2000. It offers perfect timing not only for deep-sea divers.
The IWC Aquatimer Automatic 2000 is ideally equipped for underwater use with its case diameter of 46 millimeters and a pressure resistance of 200 bar. The typical outer diving bezel is one of the typical features of the new Aquatimer generation. The IWC Aquatimer Automatic is easy to use in the water, even with thick diving gloves. Super-LumiNova was applied to the underside of the sapphire crystal ring. Thanks to this new and effective light source, the diver can read the measured diving time perfectly and clearly with the IWC Aquatimer Automatic 2000, even in poor lighting conditions.
